The MacColl Center for Health Care Innovation
The MacColl Center for Health Care Innovation bridges the worlds of health services research and health care delivery to inform and improve both. The MacColl Center is a research organization located within the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute that shares its commitment to publicly available practical research. Through work with health systems and funding agencies, MacColl develops new models of health care and leads research on complex system change and implementation research. It also provides training, facilitation, and technical assistance in model application and care improvement.

University of Washington
The University of Washington Department of Family Medicine, Research Section is an internationally-recognized research organization focused on increasing the quality, effectiveness, accessibility and sustainability of primary care. We conduct research and develop methods to answer vital healthcare questions in collaboration with colleagues in diverse disciplines and settings. We disseminate results to health practitioners and policymakers locally, nationally and internationally, aiming to inform practice and policy.

WWAMI region Practice & Research Network (WPRN) is a collaborative group of primary care practices in the five-state WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) committed to research and practice improvement. The WPRN’s diversity of geography and practice type enables it to reach many rural and underserved populations. The WPRN Coordinating Center is based at the University of Washington and receives funding from the Institute of Translational Health Sciences through grant UL1TR000423 from the National Institutes of Health National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences Clinical and Translational Sciences Aware Program. The WPRN is also supported by the UW Department of Family Medicine.
